Chairman's Welcome Message

The 13th Annual Wireless & Optical Communications Conference (WOCC) welcomes both technical and business professionals around the globe to exchange their knowledge and ideas, as well as to network with each other. In line with the theme ˇ§Regrowing the Telecommunications Industry in the Twenty-First Century,ˇ¨ WOCC 2004 will offer around 60 invited talks and selected presentations covering both technical and business topics; in particular, business opportunities between North America and Asia/Pacific is a focal point.

     WOCC 2004 covers a regular two-day program (on March 8 and 9) at Taipei International Convention Center and a special program at National Cheng Kung University based in Tainan. The regular program covers three parallel tracks:

  • Wireless Communications

  • Optical Communications

  • Multimedia Communications

The special program on the third day (March 10) offers invited talks in the morning and a tour to the Southern Taiwan Science Park in the afternoon.
