The 23rd Annual Wireless and Optical Communications Conference (WOCC 2014) is a multi-day conference covering wireless and optical communications technologies, future network and big data. The conference will be held at New Jersey Institute of Technology on May 9-10, 2014. The conference consists of four symposiums, multiple key note speeches, and a parallel poster session. The posters will be on display all day and a special dedicated exhibition hour is scheduled for the presentation of the posters to all attendees. Poster presenters will have ample opportunities to interact with all attendees.
The organizing committee is currently inviting graduate students and postdocs to prepare a poster on their research results in communications and related fields. Master students, PhD candidates, and Post Docs are encouraged to participate by submitting a title and a short abstract of about 250 words to the poster session chair Prof. Grace Wang (wocc2014poster@gmail.com) by March 15, 2014. If the title and abstract are of sufficient quality and in the scope of the symposium, the prospective poster presenter will receive an invitation to present a poster at the symposium. An electronic version of the poster is due on April 15, 2014. The poster presenters should bring a printed version to the symposium. The posters will be further evaluated prior to and during the symposium, based on the research results, the poster, and the presentation of the results. The three best posters will receive 2014 WOCC Poster Awards. The first place will receive $150, the second will receive $100 and the third place will receive $50. All poster presenters will receive participation certificates.
